Certuity Appoints Ex-UBS Senior Figure As Institutional Wealth Head

With a track record of working for large banks, as well as an active entrepreneur and advisor, the newly-appointed MD will be based in New York.

Certuity, a multi-family office, has appointed former UBS senior figure Giuliano Celle (pictured below) as managing director, head of institutional wealth. He will be based in New York City.

Celle brings more than 20 years of global financial services experience spanning wealth management, investment banking, venture capital, and private equity. Prior this new role, Celle was managing director of global family and institutional wealth, Latin America/International, at UBS. He previously served in senior roles at JP Morgan, where he led the bank’s global investment opportunities group for Latin America and international family offices, institutions, and UHNW clients.

Beyond his institutional career, Celle is an entrepreneur, investor, and advisor in the venture capital and private equity space. He has partnered in transformative platforms spanning fintech, healthtech, and impact-driven emerging markets, and remains engaged as an investor and partner with OPUS, a UK-based, community that connects and empowers founders.

Celle earned a bachelor of science in business administration, along with a master of science in finance from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Chile, complemented with an additional graduate exchange at the University of St Gallen in Switzerland as part of its Master in International Management (MIM) program, and he completed executive studies at Harvard Business School.
